Cornbelly'sP

My sister-in-law Star is really good at coming up with an idea and actually following through. I have been saying I want to go to Cornbelly's since beginning of October but I have not had the gusto to pack up the kids after work. But on Monday Starla said she was taking the kids so we tagged along. It was really fun and Cash had a great time with his cousins. Thank you Star for the oomph!
Cash and his Pop. They are two of kind and Cash absolutely loves him.
All of the littler grandkids climbed up on this huge chair it was a really cute shoot I thought!
They had this large chair there like the one at the Chevron in Beaver.
Nani and Loutie
G and Pop.
Pop thought it would be fun to go through the corn maze and it was although I think we went in and came out the same way.... actually I am positive that is what happened.
My Brother Rich is hilarious. But it is extremely sporadic(thank you clueless)! He is the best person to have around for a quick laugh.

A day off...

I love days off but rarely do I just spend them at home just hanging out. This morning was rare and wonderful. I was able to play with Cash this morning eat oatmeal, color, and play swords. When Gracie woke up I fed her and then I could not help myself... I love having a girl. I gave her a trim blew out her hair, painted her nails, gussied her up and then snapped some shots. I know it is silly but I love being a mommy!
Lou after her trim

Aunt B's Spooktacular

A big thanks to Aunt B Randy and Grams for putting together such a fantastic family evening the kids loved it and it was so much fun being together!
The whole way up to Midway Cash was saying are we on our way to BRAANA'S house, where's BRAANA'S house? And when we pulled up he squealed really loud and said BRAAN'A house he was so excited!
Cash and Grace were so excited
Bri and Randy did an Apple juice brew and it was delicious!
The Lil' Lady bug
Meg Bryce and Elle in her zebra costume it was so dang cute!
The gang putting the pumpkins face together
Grams and Cash enjoying the festivities. Bri did such a great job coming up with great ideas as usual!
The dynamic duo. They were trying to put their donuts together. Brilliant.
Acey was looking at Gramie and Cash pretty wonk-eyed. I imagine he was thinking Duh... Just use you hands.
SEE
Gracie wanted to try.
Thanks uncle Bryce
I am thinking that this is Lou's first donut. She kept saying umm...umm...!
Baby Indee all duds up
Cash has a soft spot for baby Elle. He talks about her constantly at home and begged to hold her. She was really sweet and did not even fuss.
Cash and Elle
Baby "Idee" totally smiled for the camera

The Monsters
Grace, Cash, Mckelle, Acey, Indee, Lily
I love this picture I like that the older babies are trying to kiss the little Newbies

The Ultimate BBQ

The Hottiest Dog
The Ham"Burgler"
In my opinion this is the best looking Hot Dog and Hamburger + Fixins that I've ever seen. Cash and Grace are being something else but I just have not had the time to finish piecing together Lou's costume. I was strolling through Target and came across the dog and just could not pass it up. It was not very cute the first time I tried it on Grace and she absolutely hated it and DUH... It is a hot dog but the whole package I thought turned out pretty cute.

Family Home Evening

If you know me at all you know that I love every celebration, holiday, party, etc... any excuse to get people/family together to eat laugh and create memories sounds like fun to me. I have been trying to 31 days to Halloween and have been falling miserably but tonight for FHE we carved pumpkins it was a lot of fun to be with Mack and Cash listening to music and hearing the them laugh. The memory I take with me tonight was after we lit the carved master peices Cash said "oh mom they are just beautiful... I love you." It was sweet and to the point and a very special moment.

Conference

Conference Sunday is a little different than it use to be. Same traditions and a lot more action! By action I guess I mean CHAOS. I use to linger lazily all day now I wake to extremely energized kiddos. The day goes like this... Wake up cook a dynamite breakfast with eggs, bacon, and the worlds best(if i do say so myself) Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Blueberry compote, quick clean up and off to watch the first session. Back in the day I would slump down on the couch and watch mindlessly but with a Cash and a Grace we played toys and did laundry. Although the laundry was scattered all of the floor and undies donned both of the kids heads I actually heard a lot and got the most dreaded chore(at least to me) completed. Between sessions we cleaned a bit more and got the children down for a nap I took a siesta as well. Session 2... Watched the first hour in peace and quiet then Cash awoke and we actually finished the session pretty smoothly. 4:15 off to the barn for one of my favorite traditions Turkey dinner and I mean the whole shebang! Turkey, stuffing, gravy, tatters, yams, and homemade biscuits. My in laws are unreal! We ended the night at my grandparents had a quick family home evening and came home. Jam packed day. And through all of this madness I was awakened by spirit and refueled for another six months.

24th of July and Park City

Happy 24th of July*Walsberg style
3 Years ago my parents moved up to Deer Creek and it seems they have become huge fans of town. The community puts together a really fun day with entertainment, a MC (AKA my dad) and a fun rodeo. So that is where we spent the afternoon.
Grandpa Losee, Nani, Papi, Starli, and Grace
Momma and Grace

After the festivities we went up to Park City to spend the weekend with the Asay's. It was a really nice relaxing weekend. Great food, swimming, and even better company. It was just what the family need. Time together!
Aunt Bri, Cousin Lily, and Grace
Grammy and Lil
Gracie* she loves food! She is the best eater!
One of Cash's essential foods- "Basgetti" He was determined to twirl it up on his fork. *sorry for the lack of Cash shots he is not very easy to photograph right now!

Piggy Tails

I always said that I would Never be the mom that would try to put my daughters hair or lack there of in a "pony/ piggy/half-up etc..." if it did not all fit! Well my new motto- You should NOT EVER say NEVER! Point in case these piggies are darling! I also once said that my kids will only eat organic, play with wooden toys and never have miss matching clothing! Then I actually had kids!

Cash turns 3

First of all, yes I have a three year old and I am enjoying every chaotic moment of it! He is darling, well mannered, sweet, secretive, messy, inquisitive, loving, naughty, happy, persistent, vivacious, and THREE! I would have to say that his Birthday was an absolute success. It started like this... and ended like this! Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us!
Cash opening his first present of the day from his little sister.
Buzz Light Year... Big Hit!
The pirate set up. Thank you Britnee for all of the darling ideas and stamps.

Gettin' it done! The slip and slide was sweet!

Cash's mom thought this would be fun and all she got was a button in the pelvis... ouch!
Cash blowing out his sparkler candle. (Note: Sparkler candles are cute but the worst! He tried to blow it out for 30 seconds)
The Birthday Boy
One of Cash's gifts from Grammy and Grampy
Nice moves!

Tonight Cash asked if we could go look at the moon. On the way back in the house I told him I loved him and he said, "Mommy, I love you so much." And this is one of the many reasons my heart is so full tonight!

4th of July

The 4th of July was spectacular as usual. A day filled with food, friends, family and freedom. I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you moms and dads for getting everyone together to celebrate independence day!

Big things at age one!

Gracie gets her ears pierced. She was such a good little baby! She is really busy so getting her to sit still was difficult but she handle the whole situation extremely well!

June Birthdays

Each month my grandpa and grandpa Losee celebrate the birthdays that fall in that month. Lucky Grace and Mackay...

Strawberry days

I am really behind on post I just downloaded 85 pictures off my phone. The Rueckets invited us to go to the Strawberry days carnival and it was really fun. Good rides and great strawberries and cream.

She was a big help opening her presents. I started and she dove in it was cute. On Cash's 1st birthday he couldn't have cared less.
Gracie was so nice to share her coconut cake with her daddy.
Grace had a great time digging into her cake. It was so fun to watch. She started with one finger, then two, then moved on to her hand and by the end she had her whole foot in it.

ONE

Yes, I can hardly believe it my baby is one! It is so crazy how the time has flown. With Cash it seemed like the days went by so slowly and with Grace... well she is one!  She is very VERY busy, says a plethora of words, stands on her own but won't take a step and bullies her brother every chance she gets. She fusses when he touches her and then turns and butts him in the head.  She loves her mommy and adores her daddy. She is everything I ever dreamed of and spunkier than I could have imagined.
Happy Happy Day Louddie

My Garden

My great aunt Judy has always had the most incredible garden and still to this day I enjoy going over there and eating the fruits of her labor. I have always wanted a garden of my own and since I am extremely a.d.d. and have to have a constant project this is what we did last week... And the week before we landscaped our whole front yard. (Thanks Chris) Pictures to come.
We first planted an her garden with basil, parsley, rosemary, cilantro, mint, lavender and taragon.
Louddie was a ton of help!
She ate her weight in Basil...
Yummy!
Cash was a big helper also! He washed the dirt of stuff... Like Gracie and he helped me water all of the herbs.
She ate a great amount of dirt as well.

3 days later my sis Bri was telling me about the garden box she had made and it got me thinking it would be really neat to make one of my own. So on Memorial day Bri, Randy, Lily and I headed to the the depot. This is the fruits of our labor. A big woot woot to B and Randzilla. Thank you for all of your help and direction with the box!

Bri, Lil, and G

And a better shot of Mack and the beautiful orange box. And Cash bottomless. (in training)

And our Veggies, 4 dif. tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, garlic, yellow peppers, red pepper, green peppers, jalepeno, cucumbers, green onions, eggplant, corn, peas, squash and zucchini. Yummy. Hope I don't kill them all!

Happy Day to all of you lucky woman out there!!

Tahiti

Mackay and I got to go to Tahiti with the Asay's for 10 days. It was so beautiful and most of all relaxing. And here it is...
Mack and I waiting in LA at budget for our Grand Am. We had a 12 hour lay over and we thought is would be a good day to explore.
Mack map quested the coolest Farmers Market/Outdoor Mall. I was absolutely fantastic!!! Good food, neat fresh produce and some great shopping. Mack got some sweet "shoots" (shoe/boots).
Our delicious lunch. Possibly the best caprese salad to date.
The dreadful 8.5 hour flight. It would not have been half bad except for the eastern block man that had no manners and keep bumping Macks chair.
YEAH!
And these two love bird were on the flight too.

Four years ago we stood in this very position on our honeymoon. Wow how things have changed. And I appreciate every second of it!

Our first night on the docks at Papeeta. We had really good crepes. Banana, nutella and some really fresh vanilla ice cream.

First day in Raitea. It was so pretty clear water and amazing weather.

Bri, Me, and Meg
on our way to snorkel around a coral drift. The Coral was beautiful and there was a ton of neat fish and scary urchins.

Taa'ah (not sure how to spell) we spent the day on this cool motu where we drank Pina Coladas and played volleyball for hours.

Bora Bora
This Island was incredible. The water was some thing I've never seen before every shade of teal, turquoise and blue. We took wave runners around the whole island and learned how to shave a coconut and extract the milk.

Bora Bora

Dinner at the Grill. It was a restaurant on the top of the boat. It was really really hot(no a/c) But the company was well worth it.

Kimble, Kara + one, Randy, Bri, Kerry, Eunice, Meg + one, Bryce, Me and Mackay

Kara, Me and Bri
Best company on the pacific
I told him he could sleep on the bed.

Mack swimming with rays and sharks in Bora Bora. He really has no fear of the water unlike his wife who is a lot more hesitant.

Sailing out of Bora Bora. It was so beautiful.

Sailing out of Bora Bora

We road scooters up to this look out of cooks bay on Moorea. It was cool we could see two bays one where our boat was docked.

The Girls
Kara, Me, Meg, Eunice, Bri
Literally the "Girls" Meg and Kara are both having little sweeties

Meg and Bryce, Bri and Randy, Scooting through Moorea

Peter the guy who drank his weight in Hinano drilling holes in the strand of pearls that Mackay bought me. They are incredible. I got to hand pick each pearl. It was a really neat experience.

Sunset in Moorea

The Girls wearing our new pearls on Tahitian night.

Our last night in Tahiti.

What a great experience. Thank you Kerry and Eunice for letting us come with you! Thank you all for the great memories and the few days Mackay and I got to reconnect again. I loved every minute.

Easter Fun!

Happy Easter!
G had enough by about 10:30 such a good sport!
So my cousin Raven is HILARIOUS and she thought it would be great to play this game and this picture says it all... You put some whip cream on your wrist slap your arm the cream goes flying in the air and then you catch it. So everyone in the room tried it and couldn't really do it. So the parrot in the back (mackay) kept on saying you just need to do it this way... and so here it is. THE WAY and well done I must say! Oh yeah and it is funny that grandma is in the picture because she kept saying this is fun then rushing to the mess to clean it up.
The Losee family festivities as she was hoping on our legs she was like... "But I'm 75.. Okay"
The Girlies
Hey look mom a jet...
The twins.
So happy!
Mr. Mclovin' so handsome

Blowin it up!

In our house this refers to one of the chillens blowing out of there diapers. The last two days grace has been waking up from her naps with it coming out of her diaper up her back and front and down both legs... Needless to say the sheets have been washed 6 times in the last two days and she has had a number of baths in the kitchen sink. No qualms here if is results in seeing this Happy face!

"OGURT"

Ogurt
Known to most a Americans as Yogurt. This is an absolute necessity in our house hold! For big ace and little ace! Mackay when he was little was coined "Dannon boy" For the amounts of dairy product he consumed and little ace is following right in his footsteps! We go through 20 plus "br*own cows" week! Never tried it? It's delicious! You can purchase it in the organic section at Harmons.

First annual easter hunt

Oh Gracie I lovin' You!
G opening her gift from the Easter Grammie
I loved this picture. But I feel like a mother always needs two cameras one to distract and one to capture what they are really looking at. Because when I ask my children to say cheese and look at the camera the both look to the left!
G and Uncle Taft
YEAH! You got another one!

Grace's first Ride at Chuck-e-Cheese. She loved it. She kept Shaking her head back and forth and pumping her arms.

First Bike Ride

When March gave us a glimpse of hope this is what we did... We all hopped on our bikes and buggy and went for a ride. It was so much fun. Grace was adorable a smashed in there. She was really good. Cash was GREAT.

4.03.2009

Just being you!

I am the luckiest gal in the world! Thank you for loving me!

3.18.2009

Hallelujah!

Guess who Pooped in the potty today! My mom was with the kids today while I was at work and often I miss calls. I picked up my messages and this is what it said:Cash: "Mom I pooped in the potty and flushed my caca's down the toilet... Now we can go to Chucky Cheese! Call me back." I was so happy I was clapping my hands and squealing! I told everybody at the office and they all looked at me like I was nuts. But they do not know how EPIC this is. Totally blog worthy! Yeah Cashy I am so proud of you. Please lets continue and not make it a one time thing!

3.17.2009

Because why would you not want to sleep like this???

Really? I mean come on! Tell me that is comfortable! I was getting ready to go to bed and went to do my nightly "tuck in" rounds and this is what I found. He is hilarious! Mack and I walk in his room at night to find him in the most random awkward positions. And yes that is a "Chasing Fireflies" Magazine in his crib.(that was his toy of choice this evening)

3.12.2009

New Photoshop Class

Many of you know that I used to be an avid scrapbooker! I love paper, texture, designs, buttons and the list goes on. But for me there are not enough hours in the day! So.. I made a goal to be better! It is so important to me to make a journal or a book of our experiences. So... I got lucky and ran across an old friend whom is a creative genius who happened to be teaching a PHOTOSHOP class! I have always wanted to know how people touched up there pictures and all that jazz. Well, now I am learning. And here are the fruits of my first labor. YEAH! Oh yeah... there will be a new header to come!

2.20.2009

Days OFF!!

So the days of being footloose and "fancy" free are few and far between! Especially the FANCY part and with going back to work the footloose part comes one day a week. Which I love and you can tell by the picture that YES it is 5 and I am yet to be in clothes or make-up! But... I love love love days like today. Woke up to two of the most amazing beings on the planet and had a day of leisure! A bath, Pocahontas three time and counting, a bowl of cereal, oatmeal with banana's, a couple formula bottles, a yogurt drink, a jar of sweet potatoes and chicken, cottage cheese and peaches and to top it of  butternut squash, cauliflower and broccoli! Yes my day was a lot like this post... Scattered! And I would not have had it any other way.
Happy Friday!

2.18.2009

Oh LOVE day!!

The cute kiddos getting some sustenance so they can PARTY!
(Heart Shaped PB&J'S and Squeeze it's)
Cash trying to bust the most impossible pinata
Cash and Grace's Valentines bags!
Sqwakie Lou!
I thought this picture was so fun! It really showed how the party was! You try getting a 7 year old, a two 4 year olds, two 2 year olds, three 1 year olds and an 8 month old to pose for a picture! RIGHT!
Seeing as LOVE is absolutely hands down my favorite four letter words it kind goes hand in hand with Valentines being one of my most favoriest holidays! I think it is so fun to have a day that is focused on the ones you love. It really is so fun to make cards for the ones you love send flowers and better yet CHOCOLATE and COOKIES! It has become a really great day for the kiddos too! This year we did a little party for our cousins and close friends. Thank you to all of you who came it was really great sharing this time with you!

2.01.2009

Bad Guys

Another funny Cash moment. We always end our night with family prayers and a few songs. Cash has come to the age of manipulation. He always needs a drink, then he needs a kiss, then he want's another song, then he's hungry so on and so on I think you get the picture. Last night we finished our prayers and were singing our last song. And he quickly asked if we could sing another one. I gave in and said okay which one....
Cash: "Bad guys"
Mom: "I don't know a bad guys song... You sing it?"
Cash: "Bad guys... What you doin' bad guys"
I thought is was hilarious!

1.28.2009

Crazy Minds!

I have been looking at quiet a few blogs lately and I am totally getting baby envy! I feel like I just had Grace yesterday and yes she still is a tiny little baby but, after seeing all of these new borns I begin to reminice. NO I AM NOT READY! I love to have a good year plus to have just me and baby time, but I do love me a new born. Not so much the pregnancy party although it is so worth it for the end result! I love all of your little babies and I cannot wait to meet the little ones to come. Congrats to you all. ENJOY. They really grow way to fast!

1.18.2009

Night to see the lights

The whole lot of us!
At Thanksgiving Point they had real reindeer. I thought it they were way cool.

Mom Kastle Tayven and Starli
It is a Losee tradition to all pile in the 15 passenger van and go see the lights. The tradition is to pile in. As we take or journey to Spanish Fork or Thanksgiving point everyone in the car has a choice to go to any fast food place they want.(as long as it has a drive through!) This year the stops were Mcdonalds, Chatters, and Del Taco! Annoying enough I always try to sing the 12 days of christmas. This year we did pretty well we usually get stuck on about the 8th day.
"Hey dad... Look at me!" He yelled when he heard the garage door open.

Cashie received in his opinion the worlds best gift ever from his Bestest friends... Deanie and Brielle! They always find the most perfect gifts ever! Thank you Rueckets Cash loves his cape and mask!!

December and January

I was up stairs wrapping some last  gifts for Christmas and This is what I came down to. Gracie never does this with mommy! Only Daddy!

December and January

This Picture was taken the night before the big storm. It was a lot of fun!! We delivered all of our neighbor gifts. We all bundled up and headed out.(grace looked so cozy!)

It seems as though the holidays flew by! All of the sudden it is the middle of January and I have not posted in quite sometime!(and the potty post does not count it was more a cry for help) P.S. No luck yet. It is more me that needs to put in the time. Well just a short update. I went back to work full time the middle of December. And oh how I love it. Between that and full time kids my days are slammed. By 6:30 I would like to through in the towel but have to wait till 8. Which is fine. Since winter begun it seems like our days being to slow at 6. There has been a lot of good family time. It actually is my most favorite time of the day. Just Mack me and the kiddos.

Help!!

No more diapers, No more diapers, No more diapers!! I am so sick of buying diapers! Those buggers cost a fortune and the prize that is left in them is no longer fun to change! Do any of you skilled parents know any tricks? Cash has no desire to be potty trained. Santa brought him a toilet and book and he could careless. He reads the book and just presses the flush button and he uses his toilet as a stool. He may not be ready but, I sure am! Anyone?

Christmas eve was fun as always. Mom worked her tail of as usual! She had been in the kitchen all day preparing the nightly feast! It was so yummy dips, chips, ham, turkey, stuffing yams... The works! She made sure that every request was met! She is always so thoughtful. Making sure everyone has what there tummies desire. at about 9 we all rounded up in the living room to do a fun gift exchange and then ended with a little testimony meeting summing up the year and individual feelings. My in-laws started the tradition of a testimony meeting and I love the idea so much that my family has adopted it! What a great start for the "Christ"mas day.

Funny Cash

Today is Sunday and Mackay was asked to say the opening prayer in Church. When he said "amen".  Cash started clapping out loud and cheered "Amen Daddy YEAH" he was so proud of his dad. Then he hopped up and said "My say prayers" and tried walking to the pulpit.
I Love You Cash!

Merry Christmas 2009!

Our cute little family on our way to Church.

I took a picture of Grace and her coat... It reminds me of Ralphie on The Christmas Story!

For the last couple of days I have been telling Cash that were going to go out and play in the snow. I think I was more excited than he was! This was his first time in the snow and I think he loved it! We made snow balls and threw them at the fence and his daddy taught him how to made snow angels. What a fantastic time of year!

Angels We Have Heard On High

Last Year for Christmas Mackay and I announced that another little somebody would be joining our family. My Mother-In-Law Handed me a gift and as usual came up with the sweetest item. It was this little angel outfit. On the card it said for next years baby Jesus. Each year we try to do the manger scene and read from luke. Thank you Grammie for the adorable and memorable gift! It suits Grace well. She is an angel!

Happy Half Birthday!

Happy 6 months old Grace Ann. I love you more than I could every express. You bring so much joy to you daddy and I. We are so lucky that you choose us! We love you and cannot wait to see you progress in this life. There are many thing that we love about you but here are the top 6 I can think of right now.

6 things I love...
{1} I love when some one is talking to you, you nessel your head into my body. Its makes me feel good knowing that I bring you comfort
{2} I love that your dad is the only one who can make you belly laugh. I hope that you love your daddy as much as I love mine!!!
{3} I love that you love your older brother. Whenever he comes in the room you just cackle at the sight of him.
{4} I love your eyes! You have eyes like your Papi Losee. They kind of tilt down on the lids and they shine as bright as day.
{5} I love how every time I think of you it brings a tear to my eye knowing the the lord has blessed our home with you.
{6} I love your strength. I know you are young but I can see your determination already!

6 thing you are doing right know...
{1} You started to roll over about a month and a half ago
{2} You belly laugh but, only at daddy
{3} You have slept through the night (at least 8-10 hours) since you were 3 months old.
{4} You try to hold your own bottle but only for a few minutes.
(Why would you hold it when I can?!)
{5} You are very coordinated and every thing that goes in your hand goes straight to your mouth!
{6} You can almost sit up!

{green beans?!}

And the verdict is...

Grace thinks they are not that bad. My little one turned 6 months today and got her first taste of the good stuff!

I love me some parties!

Dana thank you for planning the most fun night! It was so fun to see all of you gals. And we missed the ones that did not make it! You all have been such a big part of my life and I thank you all for the fantastic memories!

Darling!

Gracie you have my heart!
I love this face more than words can express!! Don't you just want to kiss her???

There is so much to be thankful for!

Papa Asay getting the turkey ready for eatin'.
All of the Fam enjoying the delicious feast.
Cash and Gracie dinning in style.
Gracie and Starli were rolling around and playing so cute. I cannot wait for them to grow up together!
Lil's and Cash. Cutest little buggers ever. Grams bought the kids this adorable table and they loved being on top and under it! Try to tell me they are not adorable!
Grams bought cash his own rolling pin and miniature pie pan so he could make his own pie. She is one of the most thoughtful women I know. She is constantly thinking of others. Especially her grandbabies.

Tis' the season

This is what the season is all about! Sharing, giving, and enjoying family.
I thought this would be an adorable card. I layed Grace by the tree and Cash ran over to watch the train by her side.

Our annual girls trip to Salt Lake.

4 years ago my mom started taking me, my sister-in-law Star, and my most favorite Aunt Judy to Salt Lake to spend the day shopping a Christmas decor stores and then following it up with a fantastic dinner! This year we went to Gardner Village, Modern Display, Trolly Square, and then din-din at the Melting Pot(Moms Fav!!) (If this women could be cheese fondue I think she may!) Thank you mom for the fun! I love being with you three. What a way to being this holiday season!

For as long as I can remember my dad and Bob have owned BYU tickets on the 45th yard line, right next to each other. Years and years ago they used to take our moms but as time has passed the Dads have taken their daughters. In college it was one of mine and Nat's most favorite thing to do on Saturday. But now that were all married things sort of get in the way. Last week Tiff and I got to go with Bob and Richard! It was so much fun to spend the day with some of my most favoritest people. I Missed you Nat!

The Happiest Halloween

Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays of all. I Love the Candy, The Decorations, The Festivities, The Pumpkin Patch, and it has been even more fun this year with a child who enjoys the day too! I like it for many reasons but the number one reason is that is marks the day that the "holidays" begin. (atleast for me) This year was a little tricky when it came to costumes. We always try to be something funny and sort of creative but this year I had a total block. Plus I wanted Grace and Cash to be something Cutesie! So here it is...
Hook, Smee, Peter Pan and Tink!

Here we are.
Pan, Hook, Smee, and Tinkerbell
Captain Hook!
Thanks Mack for being such a great sport it make Halloween so much fun to dress up as a family!
My Sister-in-Laws little girl lily was Tinkerbell also she looked so cute. So Bri dressed up as Tiger Lily! Bri you are seriously gorgeous and looked so GREAT!
Yes that is me... Smee, and Captain Hook.
Gracie my Little Tinkerbell

Cash my Peter Pan
This is what you get when you ask Cash to say "Cheese"! He atleast he was some what cooperative!

This is usually how it is with males and females! Especially at my house. Cash being OUT OF CONTROL and Grace giving him the "Chill out kid" look! I love it.
Pan and Tink!
To dang cute if I say so my self!
Cash kept on giving Grace kisses. He is really sweet with her.
He insisted on poising with the pumpkin! And here it is.

Happy Halloween
From the Asay!

10.29.2008

These days

Holy cow! I cannot believe she is big enough to stand in this thing! Time goes by way to quickly.
Grace was exhausted after all of the pumpkin festivities!
Grams, Aunt Meg, Aunt B, and Cash Man
Cash would not put his hands in the pumpkin! I told him he should stick it in there to get all the gunk out and his reply was... "guck CACA!" that's my OCD boy.
I know one cute kid right! I love this holiday!
Our little princess! She is so dang sweet I just wanted to kiss her!.... And I did.
Really??? That was Cash saying CHEESE.
Graceie's first Bumbo experience. Loved it.

Thank you to the Rueckert's for being such sports and going bowling with us! The kids were hilarious to say the least. Cash keep coming over to me and saying "come on mom let's go bowling" He thought bowling was all of the games that we past on the way in! Poor kid... not so much love for the real Bowling. Mack had to bowl 8 of the 10 frames.
Cash Bowling for the first time.
I know it is blurry I don't know what happened.
We love Brielle, Dean, and Chris. Possibly the cutest kids we know.
Isn't she gorgeous!

Birthday Ideas...

For all of you who really know me, you know I am a hopeless romantic! I love Late night walks, cuddling by the fire, surprise flowers for no reason but to say "hey, I was thinking about you!", girly girly lovey movies that you can sit and cry to, Simple kisses on the forehead, and the other gushy oowey stuff that most hate! I love it! I also think that ones birthday should be the best day of the year! So... this is the reason for my birthday wish list. When Mackay says hey that's cool or yeah I would maybe like that my womanly brain gathers that info and stores it in a special spot. When Brittany tells Mackay OOH that's great or that would be really cool. It goes in one ear and out the other. CAN'T BLAME HIM! He is a Guy. He keeps on saying can you please give me some hint's or just tell me what you want! "That's what other wives do." Well... HERE IT IS.
The List

I think i've mentioned my love for tag!

My Quirks... We all know I come with so many... Here are just a few.

1. When listening to the radio I change the stations frantically to find just the right song and when I find one I don't listen for long because, What if I'm Missing something better on another station.

2. Anybody with any type of zit, blemish, or bump on any part of there body better beware. I love to pick! I'll pick at nothing just to keep me occupied! My dream would be someone I "know", not just an stranger to be covered with ingrown hairs or something that oozes so I could pick at them. It's like I have a radar and my eyes just zone in.

3. I'm insanely OCD about my kids hygiene. Don't do messy faces, booger noses, ear wax, belly gunk, or anything in between. My poor kids. Flu season is the worst or if they have runny noses. I hate that!

4. When I get nervous I pop every extremity on my body that has a "pop-able" bone. Yes, I believe I already have arthritis.

5. I thought I was the only weirdo that counted steps between cracks. Thank you Nat B. for making me feel more normal.

6. I like my pantry really clean. All bottles must be in a line and labels facing outward.

7. My closet is color coded and organized from Tshirts to long sleeve, Dresses to skirts, jean shorts to long jeans.

8. I hate erase lines on papers I will re-write something a million times to get it right!

9. I don't like dishes left in the sink.... Gross.

10. I don't like talking about geriatric people when I eat. I literally vomit thinking about it.

I tag: Megan J. Meri Lindy Sarah W. Brittany F.

Bed time

I thoroughly enjoy bed time at our house. It is my most favorite time of the day! Mackay and I usually bath the kids then slowly gather in Cash's room for bed time story and prayers. Last night was really fun Cash was cracking us up by blowing raspberries on Graciee's tummy. They made the funniest sounds. Then he went to his crib grabbed his pillow and tried to lift Grace's head up onto the pillow. Once it was there he wanted to hold her and kept on kiss her face! He would say "kiss eye" "kiss nose"... It was really sweet I cannot wait to see them develop a friendship he is going to be an amazing Big Brother!

The down-side of being an avid cyclist...

+

=

Oh my poor husband! Mackay is a die hard cycler and since we got married and decided to have children his days of free riding are few and far between. Mack works up at the Lodge in Sundance and has decided that it would be "FUN" to ride his bike to and from work. Well it rained Monday so he didn't ride and Tuesday there just was to much going on. So Wednesday he road and to make up for missing the last two days he decided to do the alpine loop before he came home. Needless to say he was coming to the bottom of Sundance Canyon was wiping his eye free from bugs (forgot his glasses) didn't see a rock and went head first over his handle bars. He said it was surreal and just remembers skidding across the pavement. He had so much adrenalin that he got back on his bike and road home... about 9 miles.... Jersey torn and bibs completely gone on the left side. He peeked in the garage door I said "hey" and replied "I'm okay..." I jumped up and he had serious road rash from left toe to left shoulder. He had rocks that were embedded, gravel that was smeared in the wound, and tar that was lodged in his knee. I was completely at a loss and called my dad. He and my mom came over. My dad called some doctors we headed to Orem community.... Mack got a tetnus shot, some lidycane, and 4 hours of being scrubbed down with a sponge and a little scrappy tool. Poor Mack. But is guess it is all for the LOVE of the Sport.

Dinner with the Rueckerts

Last night we invited some of our bestest friends over for dinner. It was so fun to be with them! We have watched Brielle and Cash play for so long and always wonder when baby Dean would be able to run around with them! Well the time has come it was so fun we all went up to the play room to find these three buddies goofin' around and bouncing on Deans new favorite toy! Grace you'll be next.

8.27.2008

What did you do today?

Getty Up Vacume.
How do you get your house work done?
Trying to have the talk with Cash that clothes are not optional!

I sometimes think that my husband wonders what I do all day. Especially the days that I stay home all day! Well here is a glimps... Wake up at 7:00 to feed Grace. Get her back to sleep in time to wake up with Cash at 8:30 Morning Ditty change Breakfast... usually combined with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Handy Manny. Followed by Bath for him and me if I'm lucky (always Cash rarely me) Grace eats again both kids clothed and maybe out the door to run errands by 11:00. Today Target run and Harmons for groceries then back home. Snack time for Grace and Cash then naps for both. You would think there was time for me nope not today. Lots of prep for dinner 4 hours to be exact then cash is up and so is grace but the floors still need swept mopped and vacumed along with toilets cleaned and counters wiped down. all that and still time to organize the pantry. Mackay's home a 5:30 dinner at six with the neighbors. bed time no later than 9:00. Guys show up at 9:15 ready to start nintendo night.... And Me???? Would not have changed one thing! I Absolutely love being home! Love being a WIFE and Could not imaging not being a MOM!! Pretty Great EHHH?

8.25.2008

So What's New?

Saturday Breakfast at Sundance!
Cash was tickled with the idea of both of them in the swing. Grace didn't mind either!
The Other day the house was just a little to quiet! I new Grace was in the swing but I was not sure where Cash was. I asked Mack to go find him... and this is what we found!

Jackson Hole

Driving down to Jackson
Aunt Kara and Grace Conversing about the fabulous drive. It really was beautiful. It took about five hours but did not feel like it at all because we were going through really cool quaint towns.
Mackay, Eunice, and Bri. We had just arrived at the Teton Lodge. It was and eco-friendly hotel! Really cool concept. Everything was recycled and reused! The food was all organic too...
First nights meal at the Hotel the people were not to happy when they heard Party of 14 plus 3 high chairs! The staff was not very nice!
Cash and I in the town square. It was cool these arches were made out of elk antlers and they were place around the 4 corners of the square.
Mackay and Gracie. Yes she was on this Vacation she just slept 90% of it! What a great baby!
Cash and Grace in front of Paper and Grace! It was a really great paper boutique. I loved it!
Gramppie, Lily, Cash, and Acey
The Asay's In front of Mormon Row. The mormons were forced out by the national park. Eunice's family established part of mormon row and still own a bed and breakfast down the road a bit!

Mackay, Cash, and I in front of the TETONS!
Cash, Grace and I
Our Little Family
This is a Famous Barn that is Pictured over and over in front of the Tetons.

For the annual Asay Family vacation we went to Jackson Hole. It was so NEAT. I have never been to Jackson. I must say I felt really out of place without my Tevas and patagonia jackets. If any of you were wondering where all of the hiking, biking, type are I found them there in Jackson Hole. The scenery was Gorgeous, the Company was a Blast, the Food was mediocure, and overall the Trip was a success! Thank you Grammie and Gramppie for putting the whole thing together and letting us all come!

My Little Grace

Guess who just turned 2????

Cash had two fantastic parties one with the Asay's and one with the Losee's thank you everyone for coming and Celebrating this little guy turn one!

Cash opening his gift from Mack and I! Loved watching him get into it! Usually it is me unwrapping and him sitting on my lap drooling or a sleep!

These are Cash's best buddies who thoroughly enjoyed helping him unwrap his gifts!

If you've read some of my past blogs you know that Cash is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Club house so that was our theme. It was fun to make that cake although he could've cared less all he was concerned about was the gummy worms coming out of the cup cakes!

This morning when we woke up I was telling cash YEAH it's your birthday!!! He was so excited and he kept telling me "cannol vlow" and the he would blow. He was so excited for the candles Mack had to keep putting his hand in front of his mouth till all the candles were lit.

Cash's Aunt Bri always finds the greatest gifts! She got Cash this RODY (I think that is how you spell it???) And he loved it! It is a really thick material that you can bounce on and go really high.
Lily May Giving the Rody a try!
Acey was trying the Rody his own way!

Cash Loved getting into May may and Byce's Gift!
Grams and Grampie gave Cash this adorable fire truck. He thinks it's pretty swell!

Cash and I at his Great Grandma Losee's Celebrating his birthday with the whole family!
July 18, 2006 my life completely changed! I realized for the first time that I loved something or I guess someone more than myself. I know that sounds odd but it is true. Once you have a child you realize how selfish you have been up until this point. I must say being a mother is the most fulfilling thing I have done and most likely will ever do! I am so blessed to have this little man in my life! He brings so much joy into our home! It is nuts home much a child grows in two years. From lifting his head, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, walking, and now talking. I have loved each stage but I have to say that this age is possibly my favorite! Cash is smart, witty, and down right FUNNY! And if you don't think he is funny that is okay he is very confident that he is "ONIEE" so it won't hurt his feelings!
Cash your mommy and daddy love you and we are so happy that you choose us.
Happy Happy Birthday!

Well with a little one at home things were different this year. But, it was still fantastic. The morning was all the same Parade then Reunion. Last year we decided to start a new tradition and float down the river while my family did that I took the kids home for a nap. We ended the day with a swell evening at the Barn!
